TL;DR : Azure Managed Redis has no capacity-reporting API. This PowerShell poller safely rotates real creation attempts across approved regions and SKUs until one succeeds. Who this is for : Azure platform engineers, application owners, and site reliability engineers who need an Azure Managed Redis cluster in a capacity-constrained region without operating an unbounded retry loop. Table of Contents 1. The problem and what the poller solves What ships in the box 2. How the handoff works 3. Configure and validate the poller 4. Run one controlled attempt 5. Your organization can now manually apply Information Protection sensitivity labels in Engage. Sensitivity label support in this new application will allow admins to create labels and configure label publishing policies to determine which users and groups can manually label content in Engage. End users will be able to manually apply labels to Engage communities and in turn classify and protect their sensitive data via privacy and external user access controls.

A few weeks ago I wrote about going from dotnet run to a Foundry Hosted Agent in three lines of C# . The feedback was great. Developers liked the deployment story, the managed infrastructure, and especially the part where we did not spend the afternoon writing a Dockerfile, a session store, a telemetry pipeline, and a small distributed system just to expose one agent . But that post starts near the end of the journey. It assumes you already have an agent worth deploying. So the next question is: “What should I put inside the agent before I deploy it?” Tools. Planning. Safe file access. Human…

With this update, Microsoft Purview will start supporting collection policies. Collection policies allow customers to scope classification (SITs - Sensitive Information Types) and activities for scoped users. We recommend reviewing collection policies as they can be created by different Purview solution admins to ensure they are setup to detect the activities required by Insider Risk Management policies Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations.…

Launch a pre-scoped Data Security Investigation (DSI) from an IRM case. When a data security admin identifies a risky user who needs deeper investigation, they can launch a pre-scoped investigation directly from an IRM case, allowing them to view content analysis related to that user and better assess post-incident data impact. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies based on their own…

Enterprise admins can now automate SSO authorization for existing classic personal access tokens (PATs) and SSH keys for organizations in GitHub Enterprise Cloud, replacing manual per-organization authorization by your developers. If your enterprise has multiple SSO-protected organizations, manually authorizing credentials one organization at a time creates friction and overhead, leading to the use of long-lived tokens to avoid rotation. With this release, enterprise admins can opt-in to a new enterprise setting to allow credential delegation through enterprise-installed GitHub Apps with the…

When the Field Service and Project Operations integration is enabled, material estimates created in a project plan can now create connected Work Order Products on the related Field Service work order. This allows project-planned materials to flow into Field Service without requiring project and field teams to recreate material lines, keeping both teams aligned on the same material plan. As before, Work Order Products can create material estimates when materials are added from Field Service during execution. Supported changes remain synchronized across the project task, work order, and…

Keep project plans aligned with field execution by automatically completing a linked Project Task when its Work Order is completed. When project work is carried out through Field Service, the Work Order often represents the execution of a specific Project Task. With this capability, organizations can configure Work Order Types so that completing the Work Order also completes the associated Project Task.

SCIM user responses from GitHub now include the standard profileUrl attribute defined by RFC 7643, containing the absolute URL of the GitHub account linked to the external identity. Previously, matching a SCIM record to the corresponding GitHub account required extra lookups or inference. Identity providers and IT teams provisioning access to GitHub through SCIM can now read profileUrl directly instead of working around the gap. profileUrl is returned from the /Users endpoint and is consistently supported across both organization and enterprise SCIM responses. profileUrl is omitted when an…

Previously, when a member used all the Copilot AI credits available to them, they were blocked from Copilot features that consume credits. This release adds a flow for them to request more budget the moment they hit the limit. You can approve, adjust, or deny that request without leaving your settings. Requests automatically route to whichever account pays for the budget. Requests against an organization-owned budget appear in your organization’s settings, and requests against an enterprise-owned budget appear in your enterprise’s settings. As an organization owner, enterprise owner, or…

Why campaign performance now depends on trusted data collaboration For many years, third-party cookies helped advertisers, publishers, and measurement partners recognize users across parts of the open web. That model continues to evolve as browsers and mobile platforms introduce stronger privacy protections and limit access to certain cross-site and device-level identifiers. As a result, some advertisers and publishers are placing greater emphasis on the first-party data they collect directly to support audience activation and campaign measurement. Advertising partnerships may involve…

Traditional VPNs no longer fit the security or agility needs of modern enterprises. Static tunnels, device trust assumptions, and network-level access introduce risk in a Zero Trust world. Microsoft Entra Private Access offers a different path. As a component of Global Secure Access, it is designed to replace traditional VPN access to private resources with identity-driven, per-app connectivity. That distinction matters: Global Secure Access is the broader Security Service Edge framework, while Microsoft Entra Private Access is the component most directly aligned to VPN replacement for…

AI is changing software development at a pace no one can ignore. Developers now have powerful AI tools that can help us write code, understand unfamiliar codebases, troubleshoot problems, learn new frameworks, and get answers in seconds. That is an incredible opportunity. But as these tools become more capable, I believe something else is becoming more valuable too: learning directly from other developers. That’s one of the reasons I continue to believe so strongly in events like VSLive!. Learn from people who have done the work One of the things I value most about VSLive! is its focus on…

Enterprise AI discussions often begin with a use case and end with a deployment constraint. A clinical document assistant may have clear value, yet protected health information cannot leave an approved environment. A factory assistant may improve operations, yet the facility cannot depend on continuous connectivity. A financial analysis workload may require dedicated execution, predictable operating costs, or strict data residency. These conditions do not invalidate the business case. They define the workload execution location and operating pattern. For enterprise architects, the central…
